The Fresno Regional Workforce Investment Board, in partnership with the Stanislaus County Workforce Investment Board and the Kern/Inyo/Mono Workforce Investment Board, has created this website to assist workers who are interested in construction jobs on the initial segment of the California High Speed Rail System being constructed in the Great Central Valley of California.
We are not part of the California High Speed Rail Authority.
Those seeking information from them should see their website at:
Nonetheless, we are interested in seeing the maximum number of workers take advantage of the Community Benefits Policy approved by the California High Speed Rail Authority. That Community Benefits Policy, in part, supports the hiring of individuals who reside in economically disadvantaged areas and individuals designated as disadvantaged workers for employment on the High Speed Rail project. The first step in this process is to determine if you live in an economically disadvantaged area and if you face the challenges to employment that would qualify you as a disadvantaged worker. This determination can be made after you provide the following information.
Any worker residing in the United States may use this website. If you reside outside of our partnership area, you will be directed to the Workforce Investment Board that serves you.
